Cheaper prints here: [link]

Just me messing around with textures and clipping masks, nothing serious. I wanted to make something that was kinda simple and might look good as a wall print with trees.

I guess I could have done more with the space on the left where the sun is. I kinda wanted to draw a character or something there but just put a circle there instead. Feel free to make suggestions... For the left side of the image, not general life suggestions. Kthx.

Maybe a graggle or something?

Amazing. The trees are wonderful. And you're right, the space on the left is kinda strange. Maybe move the sun a bit to the left, and make it smaller? Also for the character, I think that's a good idea. Maybe a splash of red? Haha, but this piece is pretty beautiful without any adjustments. :D

Ah man, I'd really love to do exactly that and maybe add just a simple little red deer in there. I'll let you know if I ever do. Great suggestions, thanks!

I could only suggest maybe not putting such a perfect circle as close to the center of its space as it is. I do like the balance of the shades, though. I've always wanted to put a huge mural like this on a wall in my house like they used to put a huge wallpaper forest on walls...

Hmm, I thought putting it in the middle of the negative space would be the best place. Where do you think is better?

I think slightly more left would balance more, but I saw something recently that reminded me of this particular painting of yours. Believe it or not, it was in the movie Kung Fu Panda-- the sun they show at the beginning of the movie had a bright circle that was mostly perfect, but then it had an uneven halo of slightly less opacity. I don't know if that would work. I think it's more the starkness, the perfection, of the yellow circle against the darker background that leaves me with that unbalanced feeling. Sorry I cannot describe it better.

Hah, I have seen that movie! ... I do promise you, however, that this wasn't inspired by it ;p
Next time I have a quandry about spheres in negative spaces, I'll send you a WIP input hehe!

No, I didn't think you did. I had just seen this comment, and some times you feel something about art without knowing why you have that particular notion, so I had to think on it! Then I watched it and was like, "Hmmm... that's kind of what I felt like..." I dunno, lol.
